Ethan Wins the Habitat for Humanity's 5K at Diamond Valley Lake!!

Okay, not really, but he was first for our family's crossing over the finish line. We actually were the last group of people across the finish line...about a half an hour behind the most recent walkers! But, hey! Ellie walked most of the 3 miles! We started walking with her stroller and they chased after us and said that strollers weren't allowed on the path. You can imagine as a Mom...What?! A three mile walk without a stroller? I don't think so! I was going to stay with Ellie but Joey just said, "Let's do it." So, we went for it. A lot of it was hard for the kids. The last stretch, Ethan saw a big muscle-y man running without a shirt on and said, "How did that guy get so many muscles?" And Joey said, "Well, he never stops." ( Up until that point Ethan was crying with every step.) But with that inspiration...he literally ran yards ahead of our family all the way to the finish line. It was so cute. Don't be surprised if the next time you see Ethan, he has a six pack.
